Streaks

You only have to complete one focus session per day to maintain your streak. Hit a 7-day streak milestone and you get your first multiplier rewards. Your rewards apply to every apparition you unveil from then onwards.

Streak Milestones:

• 7-day Streak: 1.25x coins
• 14-day Streak: 1.5x coins
• 30-day Streak: 1.75x coins
• 60-day Streak: 2x coins
• 90-day Streak: 2.25x coins
• 180-day Streak: 2.5x coins
• 360-day Streak: 3x coins

Tooltips

We noticed that some of our users were having a hard time getting used to our method of deep focus and accountability (which makes you lose your apparition if you leave a running focus session for more than 60 seconds). And most people didn’t realize that locking the phone also losessyour apparition if you don’t come back within 60 seconds (a lot of people thought we did this on purpose, and no, we don’t have a choice at the moment). Overall we needed to provide some more guidance on the app. The wait is over, and we have a basic tutorial for you guys.

Suggestions

You can now suggest ghosts for us, and suggest features from either the Settings page, or the Encyclopedia page!

Ghost Rarity Multipliers

Now you get more coins for catching rarer ghosts. Here’s our scale:

• Rare Ghost: 1.25x coins
• Very Rare Ghost: 1.5x coins
• Legendary Ghost: 2x coins

Simplified Grace Periods

Previously Grace Periods would reduce by half every time you used them: 1 minute, then 30 seconds, and then 15 seconds. Extended Grace Periods reduced by half as well, from 5 minutes, to 2 min 30 seconds, to 1 min 15 seconds. We found that to be confusing to our users, so now you get 3 Grace Periods of 1 minute each per focus session. If you spend your coins on Extended Grace Periods, you get 3 Grace Periods of 5 minutes each per focus session. A new UI to help with this is coming in one of our 1.4 minor releases, so stay tuned.
